The magazine of the ancient world
www.minervamagazine.com

Minerva is the leading international ancient art and archaeology magazine enjoyed by academics and non-specialists alike. It focuses on the extraordinary beauty of ancient culture, and how it continues to inspire us today.

For over 30 years, Minerva has revealed exciting new finds and untold stories of the distant past. The pages are packed with features written by top historians, archaeologists, and curators drawn from the world's leading museums and universities.

We present a blend of stories, covering history, art, archaeology, and mythology. We also interview well-known writers, television personalities and academics who shape our understanding of the ancient world, while our travelogues give a real life glimpse of the places themselves.

Published every other month, each issue includes:

  • News of finds and research from around the world
  • Original research by international experts
  • Reviews of major new exhibitions
  • In-depth features on history's most fascinating people and events
  • Profiles of leading figures from the world of archaeology
  • Reviews of new publications and a must-have events diary

Minerva is published six times a year and has a global subscription base. It is sold in major museums and art galleries around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Smithsonian, and the Louvre.

Our readers range from top academics and museum professionals, to "armchair" enthusiasts and non-specialists - all united in their passion for the ancient world.

Minerva has been published by Current Publishing since January 2020.
