Current Publishing is the country’s largest archaeological magazine publisher. We publish two magazines, one on British archaeology, and one focussing on World archaeology, as well as a number of leading websites. Click here to find out about our publications.

It began life in 1967 when Andrew Selkirk published the first issue of Current Archaeology magazine, the country’s first (and only) magazine about archaeology aimed at the enthusiast rather than the professional. Since then it has grown to become one of the world’s most respected archaeology magazine with almost 20,000 subscribers. In 2003 a sister publication was launched, and is now firmly established.
